Battle Creek Falls

On Friday night we set off on an adventure. Under a thick canopy of smoky clouds and a murky moon, Regan, Laurie, Katie, Adam and I headed up the trail. The falls are extremely heavy this time of year. The falls used to fall in one steady stream. But, due to excessive rain and snowfall this past year, the falls has broken into two and looks as though it is shuttling twice as much water down the canyon as usual. Gorgeous hike though. It was a fabulous adventure.
