Called to Serve!

Can I just tell you how excited I am!!! In the late summer I will be moving to the Baltic States in Northeastern Europe to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! I will be trained in speaking Lithuanian, which leads me to believe that I will be spending most of my time in Lithuania. I head out on July 5th and won't be back in the states until roughly December 2008. And I'm so excited!

Larsen is playing Freshman basketball this year! We had the whole family at the game a couple weeks ago, trying to embarass him from the stands.

Texas!

I'm sold...I love Texas! I went down to Austin over UEA weekend. We went to a Jamie Cullum concert, who is now my big love. It was at the world famous Stubbs in downtown Austin. Oh, and we got in an accident when I got there. That was an adventure. I just have some whiplash that started acting up again when I was playing football the other night. But we're alive! And I'm planning the next trip, so if your in let me know!
So I didn't get in as many pictures as I wanted to, but I did catch a few of the highlights.

Anna's New Camera

I was the lucky model for Anna's photographic training. Out of about a hundred shots of me, these are the only ones I liked. Good thing I'm not in the business of modeling, eh? And how bout my own skills behind the shutter? I took this shot of Anna. She's another one of those who smartly steered clear of the model world.
